Has anyone recently travelled to Gregory downs to go to Lawn Hill Creek

Haven't been there for a couple of years (since Council stopped camping down by the river). There is a good area in the paddock beside the pub with toilets and showers opposite. Great place to spend a couple of days rest and relaxation, good meals at pub. Ensure you gas bottles are filled prior to going out that way otherwise you will need to mortgage the Missus to buy locally even at Bourketown.

Was at gregory downs a few weeks ago.Great camping down by the river.Can get water from tap in town.A dump point also in town.As mentioned pub is great.A small shop/coffee shop in town with just the basics.Camping area can get busy,so you may have to wait a day or so to get required site,but you will get a site in area.

sorry forgot re lawn hill.We left caravan at Gregory Downs and did day trip to Lawn Hill.Would recommend 50 min solar boat .Road to lawn hill /adels grove pretty rough.
