I reckon the figure across all vehicles would be simular

Dave Allen once stated that drunk drivers cause 20% of accidents then that means 80% are caused by sober drivers. So why don't all you sober drivers get off the roads and leave the roads to us drunks.

Those statistics on age are for claims made on caravan insurance, many of which are not caravan accidents as such but things like awnings torn in winds. We have had 2 caravan insurance claims, neither involved a road accident. The rollover claims accounted for less than 1% of those CIL claims, and we have no statistics on the ages of the people driving for them. The average age for claims I'm sure corresponds to the average age of caravan owners.

So, 73 of the claims made to CIL in the FY ending 2013 involved loss of control. What led up to the loss of control? Incompetent drivers around 63 years old?
In 24% of claims, a driver, presumably in full control, drove into a stationary object. What motivated them to drive into a stationary object? Reminds me of the often report on aircraft crashes that report the crash happened as "controlled flight into ground".
Pretty useful as a page filler in an ad for a book but not much use for (Quote) "For the benefit of both caravan manufacturers and consumer" (unQuote).
Here is an interesting link to statistics on caravan accidents that readers may find interesting.
Average age of driver is 63 years old.
54% of accidents are when the driver lost control.
