We did 4.5 months with 3.2 T van and LC100.
You'll be fine, just take it easy.

Most of the roads you will need to travel on are built to the same standards as those on the mainland.

We did a 3 week trip staying in cabins, we're glad we didn't go to the expense of taking our caravan over there.
There are a few main roads that could be a ''little hairy'' towing a large caravan on due to steep grades & hairpin bends.

No problems, just do it carefully and use gears for down hill.
have done 4 stints with a 9metre motor home with car in tow.

As a 7th gen Taswegian I can safely say you will have no problems...provided you posses common sense. Big mistake though to go for two weeks and think you will see it all...three months.
Good luck.
