I travelled from Eulo to Cunnamulla last July and bitumen road was in good condition and 100km/hour OK but I'd be a bit slower if towing my van. Watch for emus - they were in plague proportions last year and still plenty there last week
Road from west of Eulo to Yowah was a single lane goat track when I tried it in 2010 or 2011
Good meals at Eulo Queen Hotel and van park at rear is popular
Safe travels

Drove Eulo to Yowah a year ago, all bitumen and no problems. There is another road from Yowah back to the highway which runs a little west of Yowah, and that was good dirt. Good van park at Yowah (RICK AND Anne run it), and the locals put on a $10 dinner on Friday at the tennis club, as I recall, all welcome, drinks at bar prices. Friendly, quirky little town and some good cheap opals available either at the market or in private residences. Its a bit off the main route but better for it, I reckon.
