People putting black water down the grey water system

We are parked up next to a Caravan couple and they put their black water from a cassette toilet down the grey water drain. There is a Dump Point not far away, and I think it disgusting and very unhygienic. I am interested to know what people think I should do about it ? Its only the second time I have seen this done in 12 months. I think that there could be a chance of Cholera breaking out from this. I have his rego plate photographed. Any suggestions ?

Have a chat to the local rangers maybe or Police. As a starting point. I'm sure either will point you in the right direction if nothing to do with them. If you are in a CVP, tell the office.
Don't say anything to them as you might end up needing medical attention.

for your own and every bodies health I think you need a conversation with the person as soon as you see them emptying it in the wrong place

In CP there is drains for grey water . Then there is dump points or a dump point for black water. Only lazy A holes would dump black water into grey drains !! This water is often recycled !

Where is the park located? In Quilpie they have black water dump points at each powered site.

"Grey water" in a caravan park context would include water from caravan kitchens. It is not legal to recycle kitchen water, only water from bathrooms and laundries.
All grey water containing kitchen waste water would need to go into the sewerage system... the same place that the dump point goes.
That does not make dumping toilet waste into a "grey water" dump point right, but I suggest that there is no health risk involved whatsoever, unless there are other factors involved here that we have not been told about.
Cheers,
Peter

I tend to agree, provided that there is enough 'flush' water to push the black water through the system.
edit .... I wonder if any 'ventilation' provision is required under the applicable regulations. eg. a vent pipe as provided in residential situations. I can recall having seen such pipes at some locations.
In any case it is not something that I would do or support. In a CP situation, I would just report the case to the reception.

Thanks everyone, they left before I could do or say anything.... I have their REGO, but next time I see it happening I will try and take a photo, without getting in to a fight. I doubt if the local Police would be able to help, but I will tell the park owner about it.
