Hi from the UK. Had a 5th wheeler before now gone to this 7.8m long 2.5m wide 1900kg, Alde central heating, auto leveling system, solar, transverse fixed bed. Used in the UK March until November and Portugal for the winter.
Looks like it might be A bit to low to the ground and with a huge tail overhang it would really only be suited to very nice and smooth highways..

Geez, obviously Kountrylite is happy with his new van and wanting to show it off, I hardly think bagging it is warranted Ron.
I'm sure you'll get heaps of enjoyment out of it.

Nice looking van, and most of us here is Aus would be jealous! But in saying that, the roads and just getting into a Servo... would create problems with the A end!

Hi Kountrylite.
Are your driving lights on the Nissan legal?
Is the 1900kg empty or loaded weight?
Cheers Ashley

Kountrylite hi, thanks for sharing. Its gorgeous. I don't know why anyone would say you are bragging as its nice to see what else is out there that isn't the regular run of the mill. Like many people you have probably worked hard to afford such luxury therefore why not have it if you can. Good luck to you and happy travels. Regards Kisha.

I appreciate Aus is a huge country, a similar size to the whole of Europe. We are fortunate to have an extremely good road system and in over 50yrs driving I can count on one hand the number of dirt roads Ive been on, so grounding the A end is definitely not a problem, getting on/off some Ferries maybe

Hi
1900 kg is the empty weight, as for the lights, probably not, they only operate on main beam, and with our incredibly over crowded roads its not often another car is not coming towards you, so the odd flash is their only use.

Hi Kisha
Thanks for your kind comments. My wife suffers from Alzheimers so I bought the caravan so we could holiday any where in familiar surroundings (our own bed, cups, plates, toilet etc) We try to get away every month for a week and have just got back from N Wales (Snowdonia), so yes we are having happy travels and wish you the same
