I have a 1982 sunchaser Toyota hiace poptop campervan. I need to know where the compliance plate for the original conversion is. It was converted from new by sunchaser. I need to get a Nsw blue slip to register it as it is a Victorian van originally. Otherwise I have to pay an engineer to certify it. Thanks in advance for any info.

Compliance plates were not introduced in Australia until 1989 so you may need that engineer.

You will also need to get an electrical plus gas fitters certification, prior to taking to Engineer if 240v and gas appliances fitted.

And you'll need a note from your Mum to confirm you're allowed out on your own.
