I am a newby to this site, and to date ( its only been 2 months) the proud owner of a new 2018 MU X. I want to make a comment to all of the MU X owners out there, in regard to the storage hatch which is located on top of the middle of the dash board. No matter what year of the vehicle none of the hatches I have tried open with out having to poke around trying to lift the hatch with one hand while pressing the release button with the other. I would have thought that by 2018 Isuzu would have addressed this, but not to worry. I found a simple solution which may be of benefit to those of you who have the same problem. I placed a small rubber O ring, about the size of the O ring seal found on the male end of the garden hose connection, a smaller one works just as well. Place it flat on the inside at the end of the hatch cover near the hinges. I t works a treat, one press of the release button and the hatch pops up with ease every time.

G'day Klaus and welcome to the forum. Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit. What a positive and useful post for a first .

Welcome to the gang Klaus, enjoy here and out in the playground.
Mak sure you check out all the different sections of the forum and post away as much as you like in the appropriate section, that way it makes it easy for all to find later when things end up in the dungeon. There is also a search bar above in the thick blue line that is very handy dangy in deed.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

This forum is only for introducing yourself. Very few of the members look here, particularly those who just look for technical subjects.
I suggest you would have been better off posting this in the "Techies' Corner" where most of the technical stuff gets posted.
