We only wash our van once a year too. Love going to quiet out of the way destinations off the beaten track with no-one around.
Our car gets washed every 6 months when it gets serviced at our local Nissan Dealer.

Hi Joe, Thanks for showing the photos of The Flinders Ranges. We have never been there but are heading there at the start of August on the first leg of our trip across to the West. We are planning to camp in the Parachilna Gorge so it was good to see what the road is like. Also looks like you have a Challenger as we do.

STRETCH, you know we did , can't wait to get organized and be off again.
Granty, as you can see the road is quite good there, by the campgrounds at the western end. If you continue further up to to the east, towards Blinman the road gets rougher with corrugations and bulldust holes in parts.. Most of the holes are flagged atm. Worth taking the drive to Blinman and do the mine tour. You can go to Arkaroola (beautiful scenery) from Blinman but the road from Leigh Creek is much better, but a bit longer. Due to the drought, the roos and emus are very thick all through the Flinders Ranges. Right down to around Peterborough. Many of the recently seeded paddocks between there and Orroroo had in excess of 200 emus in them.
When you get to Hawker, Jeff Morgans gallery will blow you away. $10 each.

Reacquainted myself with the original color of the van this weekend. What a surprise.
Got some down time at the moment so washed the tug and van. Took off a couple of inches of caked on mud in places. Looks like new.
Will make a start on the insides tomorrow.
After that, will relax and contemplate what direction the next adventure will take.
