Tell us more about the fridge.
NB. This may not be a simple process :)

I would suggest - One of these - They are rather large, none under 60L.
You appreciate this fridge/freezer can *only* operate as a fridge or freezer, despite having two compartments?
So I'll assume you'll operate it as a fridge. I also have a 60lt fridge freezer which can operate as both simultaneously: https://techniice.com/ss-fridge-60l-dual-6hdr.html
I run the freezer at -12C and the fridge at +2C. Power consumption varies with the ambient temperature, as you would expect, from 25Ah to 50Ah per day in temperatures from 15C to 35C. I'll guess that if I ran the whole unit as a fridge it would consume from 15Ah to 30Ah yours will probably use a little more.
Battery size: You have to operate to worst case so you really don't want to be discharging the battery to 50% on every hot day so I suggest you go for an AGM battery with a capacity of 80Ah, or better, 100Ah.
We'll do charging stuff later after you tell us whether you have solar, a generator or plan to charge whilst driving.
btw; this post should really be in the "Technical" section - more people will see it there.

You are right this is complicated - 30 kg fridge/freezer I could not handle I am afraid.

Maybe my current method of ice in an esky will suffice.

Not for long, I suspect.
Ask again if you seek further information.

With that setup in place already, how about an 18 litre Engel run as a freezer? Mate has similar setup in a Jimny. Make your own ice overnight and run as fridge through the day. One two litre bottle of ice per day keeps milk and butter cold. Vegies only need cool.
But to the original Q, not less than 50 AH of usable capacity, so something like a 100 AH AGM or a 50 AH LiFePo4 and 120 - 150 Watt Solar panel. Both the LiFePo4 and the small Engel are space and weight saver sized items. AGM is easier to set up for charging.

Is that a fridge for diminutive monarchs? :)
I think Peter is right:
