Hi, I have been looking at this site for awhile. I retired a few years ago, been traveling all my life, mostly overseas. I have finally come to the end of that, everywhere becomes the same after a while. Except now I just want to get into the outback part of Oz and enjoy nature and all it offers.
I will be arriving back in Oz in 1 week and will be buying a Toyota LC soon after arrival, and then a suitable Camper Trailer for extended travel and camping. No more apartments, hotels and ship's cabins or cities.
Looking forward to reconnecting with Aussies and the new adventure ahead. Much to learn, so may ask a Q. occasionally.

G'day Homealone (Vern) and welcome to the forum. Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit. Plenty of information here and plenty of folks to ask questions of as well!.

G'day Vern,
Welcome to the forum. I have just recently joined and already have found a lot of useful info as well as being able to assist some other newcomers with some info from my own experience.
As someone once said, the only stupid question is the one you don't ask, so don't be afraid to ask and tap into the fantastic knowledge base out there. Plenty of people with great experience to call on.
Enjoy!
Regards
Dave
