Strangely, the robbery thing is not restricted to Kal!
Young mother was killed in Tamworth, her baby girl was found (17 hours after her mum was stabbed multiple times) lying across her mum's chest.
Doesn't mean Tamworth is unsafe, just the same as any other city!

I thought that Tamworth would be one of the last places to have this type of murder
I have been a number of times, when the Country Music festival was on (January), and the town is bursting at the seams
I was let to believe that at other times, the town was very quiet
Just goes to show
Edit to say I was forgetting my manners, and RIP to the mother

That's my point ... doesn't matter where you go, there could be something that is right out of left field that makes you say "Blooming 'eck" (or words to that effect!)
Oh, and lots of locals leave town during January ... just sayin'

Ice ....is the scourge of society, and it is only getting worse
Not a very good advertisement for Kalgoorlie, I am afraid. (I lived in that town for about twenty years).
Basically an American tourist in a car and camper trailer, was robbed at knife point, while he was parked up in the town.
They left him with just the clothes he was wearing and one shoe
