I am interested to know if anyone has stayed at the Osprey Bay camping site Cape Range NP WA. The National Parks web site says the have toilets there, but doesn't say if there is water there for washing etc. Any information would be great, and it looks like the road in is suitable for 2wd vehicles ?
Any information would be appreciated.

This is one of our favourite camping spots, beautiful big sites with views of the ocean, and great swimming and snorkeling. The road through the park is sealed double lane, the short drive into the campground is very good gravel. Once section allows generators, the other section doesn't. There are no facilities except for drop toilets. No water at the campground, well except for the ocean! There is a dump point at the visitor centre near the entry to the park, and we have been told you can fill water containers there (not caravan tanks), but I didn't actually see the water tap myself. You can fill your caravan tanks at the Exmouth visitor centre before going into the park, there is also a dump point there.

I second the info given by Meredith. I've stayed there many times over the past few years.
Really an excellent spot.
With the right antenna you will even get reliable internet.
And don't forget your Seniors/Pensioners discount for National Parks and for camping.
And you can book online ... very efficient.
Stay safe

Enjoy your stay in paradise.
