Thanks John, I have put links to newspapers up in the past and sometimes they dont work subject to personal subscriptions.
Melissa Weller in the article said;
"Weller says there are three basic rules for light-vehicle drivers around heavy vehicles dont cut in front of trucks, be aware that they dont have rear-view mirrors, (only side mirrors, and so have blind spots), and never overtake a turning truck."
This is a good start but the situation when the light vehicle crosses to the incorrect side of the road and hits a truck would cause more fatalities generally than the three situations she quoted.
I know many on here dont use or even like Facebook so here is a screenshot of an article that appeared there just recently.
It is an interesting statistic at 93% of drivers of heavy vehicles involved in fatal accidents were not at fault
