We will be in Kalbarri for the next 5 days, then want to travel North eventually Carnarvon and its School Holiday time with prices sky high. Can anyone recommend anywhere to stay in our Motorhome in the area

Get in early to anywhere north of Perth. These school holidays are very busy all the way to Exmouth. Lots of families will be on the road. Its these times we stay home!

Sad to say Gladstone is $11pp as at Nov 2016 .There,s Bush Bay about $10 pn about 45 ks south of Carnarvon only issue is if there,s a king tide the camp area can flood pretty rare occurence but it does happen.Pretty much it Shark Bay will be busy and already booked

I do notice in that part of the world, (in the school holidays), that not many families use the free camps, as there is not much for the children to do

Have just spoken to Fran at Gladstone and i can confirm for aged pensioners it is $5.50 per person per night there is an unlimited supply of water for washing there is a hot water shower regulated by the sun and 2 flushing toilets also a dump point. Its 6 klms off the main road and having stayed there a couple of times would be happy to recommend it as a nice little stop over place
