A must-see sight
Due to its idiosyncratic design, the building has barely appeared to age in the past 80 years.
Only the names of the shops and the fashions of people in the street have changed in photographs over the years.
In 2017 London Court underwent a major renovation.
London Court looked very much the same in the 1960s as it does now,
London Court was built by an Englishman named Claude de Bernales, who had emigrated to Western Australia in 1897 to chase his fortune on the goldfields.

Have you been through this Arcade ???
K.J.
Wow Jim they are old pictures you must have been knee high to a grass hopper when you took those.
Way back in 68 when I first went through this Arcade, I thought I had really stepped back in time,
I was a much younger kiwi then, but the place is still the same today.
