Usually you can type in a line of lyrics from a song & Mr Google will give you that songs title.
Tried it but zero results on this occasion.

Hi Ge It may be this one??
Artists David Frizzel and Shelley West.
The song "You're the reason god made Oklahoma"
The lyric is I work "10 hours on a John Deer tractor" just thinking about you.. Not 12 hours. This lyric is in one of the verses.
I hope this is the song you mean...
If it is you can come on and sing it for us..

Ge,
There may be other artists that sing it.
I have a mate that was a DJ for many years and his collection of songs from different artists other than the original atists is absolutely amazing.

Thanks to all and i must say it was good to get a heap of replies. After hearing the song "You're the reason god made Oklahoma" a few times i think that must be the one. The tune i had in my head was that sorta tune so must have made up the last line myself as normal i could not carry a tune on a road train. So this must be it "You're the reason god made Oklahoma". As Heather says i am a silly old fart that was the tune all along, i no when to surrender ( She told me to ).
Thanks again one and all
Regards Ge, now i'm going to listen to this "You're the reason god made W.A" again. See ya

Hi Ge, Neil Young is a Canadian singer songwriter who has dabbled at times in straight country music during his 50 year long career. In 1984/85 he actually did a tour with a country backing band called The International Harvesters and one of the members of that group was David Frizzell's brother Lefty maybe there is a link there to the song that others have mentioned or maybe it's just a coincidence. I've got most of Neil Youngs work including his country albums and I can't say that those lyrics ring any bells.
Cheers

i looking for the name of a country song, i think the singer was Canadian who's last name started with a "Y".
The only words i can recall from the song are " I spent 12 hrs on a John Deere tractor and i'm ready to go again"
If any country fans know it, please PM me or reply to this. Thanks very much it's driving me crazy.
Kind regards Ge

Ps it's not the song " Thats why God made Oklahoma" just in case any one was thinking that.
