I manage mine with Panadol and Prescribed Magnesium Tablets - I used to use Zen Liniment that was almost instant relief - Many on here use Topical Magnesium and swear by it.

Magnesium Oil is an amazing thing - we use it for just about every ache or pain or ailment - arthritis, sprains, headaches, earaches (sprayed just behind the earlobe) - toothache (outside on cheek) - had a sore throat - sprayed down my throat - hey fixed it!
If you have sensitivity in your feet through diabetes etc., spray and rub gently into pads and toes on going to bed - restless legs - spray on legs - onset arthritis - spray fingers, rub downwards towards fingers (believe me it works). Senile warts - rub it in - skin tags - rib it in. Also a cut seals quickly if the mag oil is sprayed on. Itchy bites - spray away.
I have convinced a lot of people to try the product, and some are amazed at how quickly it works, the secret is "a little bit, often" it seems to build up on the sore spots, helping them to heal. Friend had two torn tendons in shoulder - would not be without magnesium now she has tried it.
I make nothing out of this product, but we are both total converts to it - never go anywhere without a small spray bottle. I purchase from Treasured Earth (web page). Posted to me wherever I am.

Hi possum, which version of magnesium tabs please? (wife is allergic to the magnesium oil and lots of other skin products). Arava has helped her a bit, but has it's downsides.
cheers and thanks Craig

Craig 1,
My tablets are Branded Mag Sup 500mg Mega supplement. I have to take one tablet each at morning and night, my prescriptions allow four repeats. The prescription states 50 tablet pack, I imagine for PBS, although they can be purchased over the counter at the Pharmacy in larger packs - it is ridiculous when you are put on any tablet that the supply is limited to 25 days per prescription repeat, so the Govt ends up having to pay for another Doctor visit just to get repeat prescriptions, maybe they are hoping you will just fall off the twig and they will save a few cents. www.chemistdiscountcentre.com.au/

The stories about Emu Oil are quite legendary, but I think the Emu Oil cream in a tube is mentholatum www.bing.com/search
The Emu oil was always used in the shearing sheds when I was a lad as a penetrating oil (Before WD40). It was claimed it had to be stored in ceramic bottle or tin as it would osmosis through a glass bottle - put some in a glass bottle and the exterior of bottle became oily.

I asked a Compounding Pharmacy here in Albury, they offer Magnesium Glycinate 500mg at $45 for 100 caps, so now a little confused. Too many choices.

Quite a challenge for me as Im still working, although not for too much longer hopefully, my ankles, knees, hips and hands suffer the most, and becomes worse with cold and inactivity.
I recently made myself a copper bracelet with some 3mm sheet offcut from a machine I was rebuilding, a fitter I worked with years ago swore by his, and the one Ive made seems to work quite well on the hand I wear it on.
It may be a placebo, but it seems to be working, especially now its getting colder and Im still doing nightshifts. Im making a second one for my other wrist.
