If travelling through Albury heading North on the " old Hume Highway route" be aware that you need to be in the left hand lane when leaving Young Street and turning into North Street as it is then only about 150 metres before you have to turn left into Mate Street. You can only do this from left lane and it is not well "signed".
I saw Evill K-nivel yesterday pulling over a " stranded van tower" who had got to close to the corner/intersection to easily move into left lane. This also didn't say much for other drivers who wouldn't let him move over. cheers Craig

We use the by-pass, nothing of interest to us in Albury-Wodonga.
