That got me thinking aloud, which is probably the wrong thing to do, if the wrong people are listening
But...
If a larger version, with a fine gauze on the chimmney, were to be placed at a free camp, could we use it to burn some of the rubbish?

Tony, We normally have a campfire (restrictions permitting) pick up loo paper (tongs) and burn, but much of the rubbish we collect is plastic bottles, tins, etc. Tend to think it would stink to much if burnt, we normally bag it either put in bins at camp or take out on our drawbar.

Looks alright. Also it sounds as though it'd be lighter than the Ozpig. I don't carry my pig because it's just too darned hevay. I use a 2 kg firepit with heatbeads instead.

Do a little fabrication. It would cost me more in steel if I made one . Off subject a little . I found some alloy side boxes for trailer . Around or just under $100 each with gas door and catch etc . Pays to check first !! Good find .
