A US teenager's attempt to get her driver's licence failed quickly when she crashed her car into an examination station before she had even driven on the road.
"OPPS" BIG BOO BOO !!!
As the test began the 17-year-old put her vehicle into drive instead of reverse.
When she stepped on the accelerator the car jumped the kerb and crashed through the front of the test centre, located in a Buffalo, Minnesota shopping centre.
Buffalo Police Chief Pat Budke said the driver was not hurt but her examiner, a 60-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with non-critical injuries.
No-one inside the office was hurt and Officer Budke said no charges would be filed.
The teenager's car, however, was significantly damaged.

Years ago a relative reversed into an angle park at the end of her test, managing to mount the rather high kerb. The testing policeman was unperturbed, "Love, our blokes do things like that all of the time and they have been driving for years". Since then, she has enjoyed a perfect driving record over forty years with only had one accident, where another driver lane changed into her.

We should not laugh, but I did
Perhaps she needs just a bit more experience, before resitting her test
It may be a common mistake
I do remember a few years ago in the Boulder side of Kalgoorlie/Boulder, an elderly Lady picked forward insteat of reverse
She jumped over a very high kerb, and demolished the front of a shop

Have a friend who took her Peugeot to the dealers three times because he gearbox shut down because it was Hot.
Peugeot have a J gearbox selector. The main arm has the usual Park Drive reverse etc. but the short bit of the J is a Plus or minus .......Up or down the box.
She keeps selecting the short + or - section and leaves it there. Redlines the engine everywhere. No wonder the gearbox heats up.

But Tony this was her advanced driving test so she could tow a caravan.
