To get smaller pictures using Windows 10
What I do is
Copy and paste that picture and give the same picture different names
Right click on the picture and select EDIT
When in EDIT click on resize
When in RESIZE click on pixels
About 400 pixels in the first box is enough to bring it down to a reasonable size
Click on SAVE, then close the EDIT
Open the picture you have edited, f it is not to your liking then you can delete it, as you still have your original picture
