Me apart from this one , belong to Wiki camps, and Caravan and Motorhome. Just some of the regular members of the others sound familiar.

Gday..
Not a member of any clubs ... but a member and poster on six RV/caravaning/camping forums and the Land Rover Owners forum ... although this one gets 95% of my attention (to the detriment and frustration of readers here )
Cheers - John

I am a member and poster on a couple of other forums about camping and caravanning, and CMCA. This one is the one I, like John, find most of my attention goes to this forum. Been a member a long time, and know personally several of the members, including John,(RL) - so he has got friends - we just don't travel or camp together.
Met several other members over the years - some we still see regularly, and consider as friends.
And John - you always give us a laugh -keep it up - the forum wouldn't be the same without you.
This forum isn't the most active but predominantly it's the most well mannered.
No forum is without its misunderstandings.
We're a member of two other forums, both of which are well administered.

I'm on a couple others too. Have met one half of one poster here and have been recognised by my signature (which I use elsewhere as well)
Also on ski.com.au - not RV related, but one of my passions!

Seems I might be the odd one out. Every morning I visit no less than 4 different RV or caravaning forums.
In order each morning.
Vintage Van forum. - My van is officially in the "Vintage" category. I love the dedication of some of the people there. Classic Caravan Forum. - Although my van is "officially" vintage, it's only by a few months so shares many points with the Classic boys and girls. Many modernise aspects of their vans which is what I've done as well. Caravaner Forum. - great for the technical stuff. Towing stability, learnt most of what I know about Lithium there. etc. (My lithium mentor is now here so another reason for the nomad forum) Grey Nomads. Leave the best to last. All about the lifestyle I want and making new friends. I've made several friends here already even though I'm not actually travelling yet. Last subforum on the last forum every morning is "Just Joking" Great to start every day with a smile. I wouldn't miss it.
So thanks to everyone here for making this forum what it is.
Cheers Jim

I moderate on Ford forums and Lextreme forums . Most offensive is not understanding humour and text is not always understood how the OP meant it to be ?

I'm also a member of The Caravanners Forum mainly because they have dedicated owners groups where you can get lot of good info. from actual owners rather than just the smart remarks or the descent into a mine is better than yours argument..I check out GN everyday and login when I wish to comment or check my mailbox, as far as the other site is concerned I only go there when I want to know something about my tug or van from actual owners. In my opinion I find that the GN site is a lot more social than the other one - the people who post on here seem friendlier, willing to offer advice from experience (good or bad) and because of that probably easier to get to know.
