The Big Root has been at Nowa Nowa since the 70's.
It used to be on display at the local sawmill along with many other wonderful timber crafts & sculptures. A great experience.
It was moved to its current location around 10-15 years ago.
The cafe/caravan park behind it is a ''strange place'' these days? Without revealing too much!
We know the area well from 40 years of camping & it's not a place that we stay at anymore.
The Fish Creek pub serves a good meal.

When I saw "Big Root" somehow my warped mind thought it was going to be a statue in Kings Cross.

Image of Parliament House, Capital Hill, or what remains of Capital Hill many of us are still annoyed about the destruction of that beautiful historic place, in Canberra.
Speaking of which, did anyone ever imagine that a TV media celebrity, particularly a woman celebrity journalist in an interview by another woman celebrity journalist (print), would use that coarse term, obviously to impress her Twitter followers (who else?)?

Another Big Tree Root is the"Phoenix Tree Sculpture" in Myrtleford Vict.
