Free camp sites between Merimbula NSW to Lake Entrance Vic

Hi I'm new to the grey nomads site.

I also haven't travelled This area before and was wondering if anybody could give some advice on free or cheap camping areas on this journey.

Cann River free camp, couple of overnight bush camps on either side of Lakes Entrance. Generally East Gippsland Shire are not in favour of free camps
