Thanks for allowing us to be part of the Grey Nomads forum... personally I pay a lot for this colour which is slowly but surely turning white. Can I still be a member if it's not grey??
Meantime... best friend, wife and boss Kaye and I (we have worked together side-by-side almost every day since meeting in Brisbane in 1980)... she was a baby when we met apparently! - we've recently taken delivery of a New Age OZ Classic 20 and Isuzu M-UX. We've had previous caravan experience in an old 16ft Viscount which our 4 dogs Cosmo, Kismet, Monet & Matisse really loved - (no longer with us).
Doing a Tow-Ed course on 27th Feb 'cos this rig is a LOT bigger/heavier than we have done before - besides, you're never too old to continue learning right??
Bigger plan is to do the lap but we'll start off with short trips initially. People ask "how long will you be away"? to which we say "6 days, 6 weeks, 6 months or 6 years" who knows eh?
Anyway we have our 'baby' - a rescued toy poodle we call 'Chica' (Chiquita = Spanish for little girl) - not at all spoilt!!
Our b/g is radio/TV (don't hold that against us!) and more specifically the pet/vet sector recently which we will continue to do 'on the road'. We also want to do people stories when we start travelling and meeting new friends - podcasts mostly - just for fun - stay tuned
Oh and if you like anything pet/vet related this is our website: https://www.vettalktv.com/
Thanks again - look forward to meeting some of you on our travels.

G'day KBBP and welcome to the forum. Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit. I don't think we're that fussy on hair colour - natural or dyed :) Sounds like you know what you are doing but enjoy the forum.

Thanks Iana!.... As it happens I (Brian) used to work in PNG too! Waaaay back in the early 70's as a Sound Effects Officer for the ABC - 9PA Port Moresby. Travelled all around and saw some amazing stuff... No doubt we can/will/should keep in touch to exchange stories

Yes, I checked your user details. We were there just preceeding and just after independence. Never had much to do with Moresby, too humid.
