you might find do to the length an the over hang might be the only why to get it on without doing any damage
some motor homes that have broken down have to be picked up by a low loader with long tail lift do to over hang

I'm thinking of going back to my original idea of roll on roll off ferry out of Wollongong. No issues with tilt trays and forklifts....just length....but its a ferry so fits fine.
Quotes have been ranging from $5200 for roll on roll off, $5800 for a truck door to door to $8k for a long drop deck trailer depot to depot.
Ferry is the way to go...cheaper and no issue for long vans.
Hi,
I got a quote to transport my Spaceland scenic caravan from Wollongong to Perth on a drop deck trailer (due to the length 10.8 Metres it needed this).
However, they stated they lift the van onto the deck using a forklift as that's the preferred method....apparently.
Any thoughts on this?
Cheers
Mark
