Sway bar for roll on bus or for load on tow bar ? My old Fuso converted 9m bus . I used a bar from a latter model . Made steering way better . Being a pusher ( engine in back) with much more weight .

It is for reducing roll in the rear which will of course sharpen up the steering.

Howdy Gurdymotor, A Big welcome to the Forum,
I owned a 1977 Coaster bus a few years back and had the same problem that you have, On close inspection I found all the rear spring bushes were completely worn out,
After I replaced all bushes with new Neoprene ones, I found the old Girl handled a heck of a lot better with reduced sway.

Thanks for that info but I really want a sway bar as the bushes are all new in this one. I am a suspension specialist and just want the hardware for the roll bar - I can easily make one but I just want to shorten to delivery time.

Hi Gurdymotor
Here is a part number for a '99-'04 Toyota Coaster - HDB50 rear bar. You could try searching ?? toyota 48812-36030.
But really any suspension specialist place could make one up and fit it with standard after market parts. Or try the truck wreckers as there may be some left on their stock. There are Coaster bus wreckers if you search.
