Hi, i have stayed at two of the parks. sea-vu, which is closest to town. can be crowded in school holidays and sites a bit small. Nice views if you get a site at the front, easy access to beach and 5 mins to town. The one out at long beach,Discovery Parks has larger sites, wasnt crowded when we were there, nice amenities, easy access to a very long beach and about a 20 min walk via a coastal path to town. We enjoyed Discovery more, but sometimes its just in the timing of crowds and weather. I have heard good reports about the Kui Park, but havent stayed there myself. Good luck.

Many years ago when I had a camper I stayed at the one by the beach too. Only just fit into my site. I wouldn't choose that one again, but it is close and handy.
Cheers John.

We stayed at the Lakeside Park - it was quiet, the relieving managers were very helpful, our stay didn't cost the earth. There is a more prominent Big4 but it was exposed (could be good in summer, though) - it was closed when we arrived (two parks close for winter/spring).
It's a nice town but for us who are getting on in years, we need a few more facilities - medical wise. Still Naracoorte, Lucindale & Mt Gambier aren't too far away. The Pizza shop? Can't say anything against it - very, very nice!
The scenery is magnificent! I'd love to return with a canoe to explore the lakes, wetlands.
It featured on the ABC's Back Roads recently.

just stayed at the big 4 in robe. Its nice clean, has an indoor pool and a huge playground for the kids.
Downsides for use as a family of 5.
Cost. 98 dollars per night.
Sites are tiny, cars parked on road.
Was a loud park i.e lots of chatter till curfew.(might be a good thing as well)
Park staff even though they are nice, they lie. do not trust what they say.( we were told that we could extend our stay, but when we asked a few days later they said no.
Robe itself is a nice town, but a bit on the pricey side. Only one pizza joint that I could find and if you don't book ahead you will be waiting for pizza for an hour or more.
If you are on a budget move 40km up the road to Kingstone SE. you can camp for 10 dollars for a maximum of 2 night.Thats our next stop when we visit SA again next year.

If you look on WikiCamps you will see that the Kui Parks park gets a good write-up and is best value fee wise.

Wrights Bay Campground, such a great place to stay. Close to all the coastal scenery, wineries etc. From memory in 2016, $10 per night for two.
Why pay mega bucks? Large area, huge sites, no noise, sea breezes.

Wrights Bay depends upon whether you want showers or not.
I forgot to mention previously, there are two caravan parks not far away at Lake St Clair.
