2018 D fish are calling. The boat is good to go, well almost. New sounder/GPS sitting on the boat, a new auto bilge pump to installed.
I slipped the boat off the trailer early December so I could service the trailer proper. 4 cans of fish oil later, with the neighbors blocking there noses she is all good to winch back under the boat.
Lambie works the winch as I knock the keel blocks of timber sideways, as the trailer incher's its way back under the boat. It takes 5 minutes to winch back under. However setting it up to pull the trailer from under takes up hours, with 14 tyre casings to support/ balance the boat while sitting on the keel proper.
it be ready tio go soon now.
This trip will be 3 weeks of KG/ Snapper fishing in SA in early March.
Fishing anyone!
Jim

Yep! We're getting our 70HP Yamaha Outboard serviced in a few weeks time then heading for a long stay at Mallacoota VIC.
Plenty of Black Bream & Dusky Flathead in the lakes. Just waiting till the kids go back to school, a bit quieter then.

Hi all,
Well we have 2-3 days of cooler weather. I got stuck into the removal of the old echo sounder/ fish finder yesterday/and again this morning. Out with the old technology, So many cables and ties.
Started the install late tonight . Looking good, Should have the state of the art Lowrance Tdi9 fitted up tommorrow.
The weather is going to turn yet again for the next 4 days,37,42,44,36. Up early tommorrow.
The old saying, fish at the end of the line.OR should that be rainbow,OR a kreel of fish at the back of the boat.
Either way The King George are awaiting. not to long till we cast off.
