I am a very new member to this forum and like what I have seen looking from the outside for some time.
Last week I ordered a new caravan that will come with a reasonable amount of gloss black checker plate. The colour coordinator and I are now in chaos as I am worried about fading and the colour coordinator is worried about the look. We are fast running out of time to change the colours. I would appreciate any advise/experience owners have had with powder coated checker plate. Bare aluminium is also a possibility, but the problem could be glare or dulling with time and we must never forget the look.
If it is any help our current van has travelled many hundreds of kilometres of dirt and the new one is being built for more.
I look forward to your collective thoughts.

G'day Kayos and welcome to the forum. Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit. Not sure I can help on the colour fading situation though.

Welcome to the gang KAYOS, enjoy here and out in the playground.
Ask your dealer to arrange 'Vantec' it protects the outside of the van. I have it and wouldn't leave home without it.
