Anyone know what happened to BOM radar at Eucla, appears to have gone

Nope. Why do you need Bom for.
Eucla not much there, except sand, a few houses to look after the local police a nurses home/ first aid post, and the folks who work at the boarder crossing.
If you look across the escarpment from the caravan park towards the sea, You may pick up the Wind sock down at the air strip with the aid of some binoculars.
If its not moving, then its Calm.
If its horizontal its windy.
If its missing Its time to Leave.
There after I can't help you.

They shut down the BOM site a couple of years ago, usual financial cutbacks, the person who ended up buying the building says there are some incredible views across the Southern Ocean.
