free camping from Brisbane's northside to main beach Southport

We are "New" to the world of caravaning. We are travelling from Brisbane's northside to Main beach, Southport. We have 3 nights to free camp along the way. So any ideas which way to travel? via Boonah, Beaudesert ect. Towing a 21ft Royal Flair Any suggestions for a sites to free camp.

Hi - on the way to Beaudesert - Lindsay Highway, North McLean - at the bridge is a great overnighter - free - huge area, toilets. Turn in at Greenbank Road, next to service station and Subway. follow signs.
There is another freebie in Beenleigh - Hugh Muntz Park - I think you can walk to the shopping centre from there.
Both these are in Wikicamps .
Boonah Showgrounds or Kalbar Showgrounds are both good stopovers - Boonah at the back f the shops, and Kalbar just near the pub, a great bakery, Weiss House, Weiss Cottage and Weiss Emporium.
