Perhaps this may be of use - haven't had time to use it yet, but they are normally very helpful Note it is a free membership site.
During August this year we sent out an email to notify members about a new feature on Caravancaravna.com.au Trip Planner. The new feature is the green Navigate button which turns Trip Planner when opened on a mobile device, into a GPS Navigator with the help of the Google Maps App.
While we received a number of replies to that email, we have yet to hear if anyone is using this new feature. We use it all the time, even when heading to the big smoke to do some shopping.
The Navigate button works as follows: First, make sure that you have the Google Maps App loaded on your device. Open your trip in that device and select a place in the trip list to which you wish to travel. When the green Navigate button is clicked, it opens the Google Maps App and passes the GPS coordinates of your chosen destination, to that App, which then takes over and talks you through the route.
We are keen to hear from anyone who has used this feature. If you use Trip Planner but have not yet tried the Navigate button, we encourage you to do so and to then let us know if you found it useful or not. Your feedback helps us to fine tune the website. We can't however do anything about the Google Maps App and its operation.
See you on the road,

There is a program called Nomad Notes that may suit.
It is $50, and only available for Windows based laptops/computers, but may be worth looking at as it is a full record type set up including expense, diary, photos etc.
Just google nomad notes and have a look.

Why not a simple spread sheet?
Most mobiles will have an editor pre loaded. Or use a tablet or laptop

Hi
We use Trail Wallet and have done so for two major overseas trips and found it great. Can add your own categories and tags which should cover everything you need. Free on the App Store. Pretty easy to use. We have been using it on an iPad, we don't know about other platforms.

The app. we use is called our credit card. We place 90% plus of our expenditures on the Credit Card and the Statement is checked every month.
As for the cost of fuel, my view is,...if we do not fill up ( at any cost) we go nowhere.
Then again, maybe I am to casual re expenses.

The Australian Caravan Club website has an excellent trip cost management system which I have used for the last 8 years.
