Apologies if this has been posted before. I have looked through the forum and can't find anything, so here goes.....
We have a Toyota Coaster bus converted into a motor home. It runs on 24 volt; 2 12 volt batteries in series.
We have been looking for a 24 volt solar power set up. Seen hundreds of 12 volt systems, but been told they won't work on a 24V system. Can anyone point us in the right direction to find a 24V system please?
Many thanks

I guess you pair two 12v panels in series ?

As Aus-Kiwi say just use two ordinary 12v panels in series. Good diagram too. There are plenty of larger panels that are 24v but they are heavy to handle and big to store. Be careful when you buy panels that they have enough cells to give full charging voltage.
I had some portable panels for my previous Isuzu MH. I used ordinary 4x 80W 12V panels, total 320W, wired up in 2x strings of two panels in series for 24V. The smaller panels just fitted well on the gear storage box on the back. Some plywood spacers and a couple of ratchet straps to hold them on. I fitted longish generous size cables to a double socket extension cable. Also a marine SS cable to lock the panels with a couple of holes in the frames. Ask for more details if you want.

Most portable panels that folding panels consist of two 12 V panels hinged together and wired in parallel. It should be an easy job for you to rewire them in series as in Aus-Kiwi's diagram.

And many solar controllers can charge 12V batteries or 24V batteries and utilise higher voltage solar panels.
