Just wondering if anybody carries a Drone with them and use it along the way to capture special moments. Jane and I recently purchased a DJI Phantom 3 advanced to take on our future trips away and are hoping to get some good footage of our trips.

On our last outing I met a guy who was waiting to get home as he had a DJI Phantom 3 arriving. He sent me an email saying he was enjoying it and that it was quite easy to operate. Being a pilot I am very interested. Also have a mate who has a DJI Phantom 4 and produces some fantastic videos. I need to spend some time with someone proficient to see if my eyes and reflexes could cope.

Geez Weevil, Wombat sure was flying low in that first video, damn thing keeps up with the traffic as well.

We've had a Phantom 4 for while now. Great vision. Still learning, but it is easy to fly, and the return to home feature is just great. Stops you flying into fixed objects too.
Here is a link to some footage on the Murray River earlier this year.
