One year ago today when my Oncologist told me the abdominal snowman had gone.
And the start of my 3 monthly checkup began.
Have come a long way in that time.
Now to get over this damn tiredness that won't let go yet.
At least I'm still out there on the road and enjoying the ride.

It's great news Marj,
Hilary (SWMBO) received her last maintenance infusion today. Yay!!!! Next visit to the oncologist will be in 4 months.
Looks like we'll be able to travel shortly. Her condition is incurable but can be controlled. At the moment it's called remission
and could stay that way for many years, but will need to be checked regularly. The Oncologist is saying checks every 4 months and
will extend them out gradually until she is tested every 12 months. Can't keep the big smile off her face.

I know how she feels. To have the reviews extended is the best feeling in the world.
Good on Hilary. Hope to see you both out there somewhere in our travels

Hi happywanderer, thats great news. You have weathered the storm.
Have just finished the usual round of 3 monthly tests, scans and review and pleased to say, in fact I'm ecstatic.
I'm in the clear. Next check up is in 6 months with blood tests only. No pet scans, no ct scans.
Just the blood tests then on to my oncologist for a review.
Can't ask for anymore than that.
That's wonderful. Very happy for you

All the best for the future, Happy Wanderer
Hitting the road tomorrow.
Great news Marj - dance as if there is no-one watching!
Cheers
