A friend that we met through this forum passed away this week, after complications from an earlier operation.
Very sad to hear - some of you may know him, he called himself Rover - we called him "The Doc". Some from Greens Lake, or Wuruma Dam may remember him as Rod. A; true gentleman and a lovely person.

I didn't know him Jules but I recall reading some of his posts and seeing a few photos. He seemed to be the type of person who would be great company. That is sad news.

Sad news for all who knew him. I don't remember him but he obviously left an impression on those that did. Condolences to all who knew him.

we had the pleasure of meeting Him at Wuruma and spent a couple of weeks there,

I never met this man, but RIP Rod
The older we get, the more friends we see passing on
Unfortunately, the friendlier we are to other people, the more friends we have
It is never a nice feeling to see a friend pass on
So condolence to all of Rod's family and friends
