If you were to book in for too long at Rawnsley, you might find yourself doing a lot of travelling to and from Wilpena . Great camping there, including powered sites and lots of interesting drives and walks. We did this some years ago, and have returned to Wilpena many many times since. For me it has it all. There is also a self drive north of Wilpena on a Station that is excellent. SkyTrek I think.

Thanks to Bazzle and Cultana. We plan to stay 4 nights, and might book a 4wheel drive tour, as we only have a 2wd Motorhome...

Last year we stayed at Alpana Station 6ks south of Blinman, 4 ensuite powered sites.
The lady who runs the place takes people on 4wd tours of the station.

We are going to stay at Rawnsley Park this week, and its busy there. We want to book a 4 or 6 hour 4 wheel drive tour before we get there.
Has anyone done one of these tours, and which are the best ones ... hope anyone can help.
