If you want happiness for a year -- inherit a fortune.
If you want happiness for a lifetime -- help someone else.

I've found that I whistle most days inside and out.
Di always going at me. ( Shut up that bloody whistling)
It brings a lot of smiles and comments.
Keeps a smile on my face too. Not many seem to do it anymore.
I've done it all my life. And . funnily.
I've been happy all my life too.
Even through the hiccups.
A smile brings smiles I find.

@ Cultana - Chinese Proverb, but the moral is that true happiness is only achieved when helping others.

Don't we all.
Even if it's just stepping aside to let a lady through, sit, etc.
