One of the things I really like about caravanning is the outdoor lifestyle. Not relying on all those electronic gadgets until you are actually trying to get off to sleep (TV, iPad, iPhone). Having a chat, a drink or three, a wander around the campsite. I found this item quite true. http://www.9news.com.au/national/2017/08/13/11/34/tony-jones-we-desperately-need-a-digital-detox
Can do without the TV, but keeping in touch with family via Facebook, email, phone makes being absent from family so much easier.

True in a way Rusty but if I wake around 2.00am and that is a lot I can't get back to sleep but If I look at the phone at messages, emails, pics, forum etc I can mostly get back to sleep.
I heard that Woody!

Wife does same. Years ago it was a book but she needed a light for that. Her iPad doesn't light up the room. Luckily.
