Residents in Perth and the South West are being warned to brace for wild weather, including damaging winds and possible hail, with a cold front crossing the coast late on Monday morning.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) said the coast would be hit by wind gusts of up to 125 kilometres per hour between 10:00am and midday, which could cause damage to homes.
There is also the possibility of heavy rain and hail early this afternoon.
We have just returned home from shopping, it's the first time that we have seen mobile bill boards on the highways flashing S.E.S. warnings of the impending Storm, they are taking this storm seriously !!!
It's now near to 11.30am and she's bucketing down, thunder and lighting going mad as well, sure glad we're not camping at the moment.

The waves are rocking in at Guilderton WA. The brown rocks are seaweed piles!! And buried under the water is the remains of the groin and boat ramp.
We were hoping for some more rain, but got plenty of wind south of Freo. Warnbro Sound was cutting up with seaweed piles like your pic on the Port Kennedy boat ramp, Sue & Phil.

The State Emergency Services has received 44 calls for help, 42 of which were in the metro area.
Warwick and Hamersley have been some of the worst areas hit, with trees down on roads and buildings damaged by falling branches.
At present,( 3.20 pm w.t. ) the temperature here is a whooping 12C feels like 5C it's almost stopped raining but there is a forecast of hail still to come !!!
