Looks OK John. Not sure if it is the answer to Diesel powered ones though. It was interesting/strange that most of the demo was outdoors though
I won't show that to the twins mate

The hype is too good to be true, would probably keep your face cool, 1100 btu/hour is approx 300 watts, a small split air conditioner delivers about 2500 watts of cooling.
A small fan blowing on your face would probably be just as effective, for a cost of $15 and a ryobi battery powered fan about $75.
Don't waste your money

I agree roving, they are still looking for backers. Sounds too far fetched.

Hi Jay&Dee, I have been looking at this for a while now.
If it works it would be a handy little thing to carry around for hot days.
Todate I haven't been able to find any concrete info on it.... lots of the same advertising but their kickstart backers seem to be getting pretty discouraged.
If so can you let us have your views of the cons and pros for this unit.
We have been searching for a diesel type cool A/Con similar to the diesel heater.
Could this be the one.

I'm sitting on the fence with this one.
