This months Caravan and Motorhome on tour publication had a full page ad on Outback TV Satellite system which caught my eye $2150.
Went to the Gold Coast Caravan Expo yesterday and here they were , I was amazed that they could pick up satellite through their shade structure.
They have a Quad LNB and auto GPS skew , 920 x 860 Dish , 12v or 24 v . 3 year warranty and they can organise installation at extra cost , around $350.
Having had the Sphere on a previous motorhome and a portable system on another vehicle , I think this unit is exceptional value.
I don't have any affiliation with this company. OUTBACK TV is the Company's name. VAST Box is extra.
There has been mentioned in other posts that some have imported them from overseas....England from memory but to get one in Aus with the warranty and support is valuable.
I also believe that some have plastic gears and can give trouble at times... Metal gears would be better.
Keep us all informed if you get one.
Cheers

Geoff,
Yes that is the website. The company at the show who is the distributor, their website is www.OceanTV.com.au .
They do have a metal gear box and the model on show was the RV85a.
I will be getting one when I find my new Motorhome unless it already has one.
