Not as bad as they forecast.. Gusted to 43 knots at Rottnest, around 35 at Mandurah. Not enough rain to bless yourself with. Pathetic. Lets hope the next episode gives us more rain.

We got a bit of a blow ( if you could call it that ) last night here East of Perth, but nothing to get excited about, although at present 12.00 noon, the wind is gusting stronger at times along with squally showers.
That Warning was issued for the South Coast, as yet I haven't heard how bad it is down South, sure hope they don't cop the flash flooding like they got a few months back.

Up here at Seabird there wasn't much during the day but we have very strong gusty winds with a little bit of rain happening now.

Hang in there sufil, the warning for the South Coast has been downgraded, but they say we can expect a thunder storm or two over night with more gusty winds.

Lots of strong wind and heavy rain overnight but nothing broke or blew away. Looks like we are in for more of the same today so an inside day today I think. Had planned on a trip to Jurien to watch the grandsons play footy and to catch up with some friends who are housesitting up there but this little black duck doesn't like standing out in the rain cheering kids on... did that with our sons so now we can be more selectful.

I have to eat my words after watching the tv news after my post. There was some damage suffered up in the Big Smoke. Not too bad down my way though.
If you live in the South West of W.A.
