My husband and I and little dog will have to spend approx. two weeks in Scone NSW. Both listed parks have fairly poor reviews due to noise. I would be grateful if anyone has any advice on alternatives around Scone.
best regards
Marg

Hi Boncas.
Maybe Mussellbrook Showground would be a possible.
Have had a overnight there heading south from Brisbane to Sydney, we have it earmarked as a place we would go back to.
Lake Glenbawn near Scone has been on my list for some years, we have not stayed there
I would think if the distants from Scone was not important Lake Glenbawn this time of year would be very quite.
There is a couple of overnighters but not suitable for longer stays.
I have just done a search on a facebook site, good old facebook, so many people don't want to know about it.
Linga Longa Pud at Grundy, sounds interesting.
Hope this is of some help, enjoy.

Thank you so much Radar... I didn't know about Musselbrook showgrounds. We will be there for at least a week travelling into Scone every day so Musselbrook looks like the best option. Again thanking you, Marg
