I have been specifically asked by a GN member to provide some information regarding my slide-on camper, so I have attached an information sheet on it's specs and design. I realise this style of travel won't be for everyone and by no means am I promoting this camper, but it suits my needs and requirements perfectly... Safe travels to all Gwynnie @ matildatraveller
Looking good
Plenty of space in there
It's all you need when someone is traveling alone

Thanks for posting the the pics Gwynnie. Its amazing what can be fitted in such a small space. That will be the way I'll be going as Kathy is not too keen on travelling. I'm drooling about all the barra and other fish waiting for me up North. Gotta give work the flick too one of these days.

Hi Jewels great to hear from you, and thanks everyone for their positive feedback.
I am quietly chaffed about it as well. After selling my motorhome I have spent quite sometime finding a suitable slide-on camper for my little Toyota Hilux 4x4 that fits the tray, is light in weight enough not to work my little 2.8 lt motor to hard and has all the necessity comforts. Trust me when I say, I am totally useless when it comes to towing, turning or reversing a caravan or trailer. So knowing my limitations BINGO! I found this camper and it ticks all the right boxes for me. Gwynnie
Great to hear such positive responses regarding my choice of vehicle & slide-on camper. I couldn't be happier myself and so far I have taken it 4,500 km of from Brissy to Longreach & Winton via dirt roads to Birdsville via Bedourie . I left the group at Bourke and headed to Adelaide via Cobar to see my brother, then onto, Wilcannia, Broken Hill and Mildura onto Henley beach to visit my grandchildren. Not sure if you have seen my photos yesterday that I posted of the Henley Beach Jetty on the forum- 'What's the weather like where you are?'. So I will add a few photos onto this page. The weather in SA has been horrific with extreme tides, winds, rain & low temperatures. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..... Heading back to sunny QLD on Wednesday via Hay, Bathurst and Warrick on the New England Highway to Caboolture QLD..... Gwynnie
