It looks like BOM (Bureau of Meteorology), are going on strike for three weeks
Edit to say
If we update the weather in our area, on the below link of this forum
http://thegreynomads.activeboard.com/t47569174/whats-the-weather-like-where-you-are/?page=103&ts=last
This would be handy for those who...
Do not like rain, not to go there
Do not like wind, not to go there
Do not like cold, not to go there
Do not like discussing the weather, not to read the post
Good one Doug, I was looking in the I Digest, and not the General Forum, and was wondering why I could not find the Weather link
First time today for egg on face, so I am definitely improving
NOT ALL ON STRIKE AND LIMITED STRIKE TIMES.
BOM staff who are members of the CPSU would be protected by daily stop-work action, between either 7:00am and 10:30am or 4:00pm and 6:30/7:00pm.
The CPSU estimated about one third of bureau staff would take part in the industrial action, which was not due to end until August 9.
If they don't provide services ie for aircraft, sailors etc they could be in a legal nightmare I would assume.

Mate, there is a Sticky in the General section called 'What's the weather like'. Why not use that instead of re-inventing the wheel?

Plus another for Sailors\Boarders.
Much more accurate in specific areas.
Used that for boating\fishing sailing
