We know how difficult it is when trying to get a park up at Balgal. Problem solved, for Caravans & Motorhome owners who like a game of Golf or Bowls.
HI ALL, our son Mick McMahon & his family, have just bought the local Golf club here, and they are trying to promote it to Grey Nomads. He has made a few spots available for Self Contained Vans & Motorhomes to park up, to start with, so you can have a game of Golf or Bowls, have a swim in the pool or have a drink in the club house and relax, without the worry of driving anywhere. There is a shower/toilet available during open hours.

What a great idea - I wish him ad his family well with their venture.
I am sure you will get quite a few coming to visit - especially the golfers and bowlers.

thanks for that response, greatly appreciated. The Golf Resort has been in liquidation for about 3 yrs. so nothing was done with the green, until July 1st when our son took over, so now Mick and his team are putting there all into it, to get it back up. Also the restaurant now operating, and has had so many great reviews on Charlie the Chefs meals.

Kaid, if you don't play golf or bowls, you can stay there so long as you patronage the club, like a few drinks or a meal in the club house, which i feel is fair enough. Pet friendly is determined by the pet of course. Health Regulations occur for the club house of course, but it is only like 50 mtres from the camp up. Their is wildlife on the golf course so of course it is not accepted for doggies to chase them. There is plenty of room to take your pet for a walk on lead, without going on the golf course, so I don't really see any issue so long as responsible pet ownership is adhered too. Mick the owner our son loves animals so he will not give any pet owner, any grief if they be responsible. So call in and enjoy!!!
