My wife and I will become grey nomads this coming October. Having worked all our lives, mostly in the Pilbara WA, we are really excited about the prospect of travelling this great counrty of ours. We're heading to the AFL grand final end of September and then head off through VIC & maybe NSW hunting for a 'pre-loved' caravan. After that, who knows.

Welcome to the gang ando1957, enjoy here and out in the playground. Good luck with the "hunting". Keep an eye out for Woody from 'Woody and Sue' and give him a feed please. He is still in need of one, you can't miss him, he looks like a pink galah, um, well something pink anyway.

G'day ando1957 and welcome to the forum. Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.

Hi everyone,
and new to the forum.
Recently acquired a 2013 Ranger PX XLT auto in preparation for "the great escape", and soon to be starting the research for the 'van.
We've been camper trailering these last twelve months, and so we've been busy modding the Ranger with so much fruit, it looks like a bloody "spotted dick"!
The camper has also benefitted from my need to make improvements...the latest being two 12v electric blankets, fused and complete with individual inline switches.
I guess I'm keen NOT to start the "which 'van will be best for us" discussion, so as not to unleash the hounds here, as these forums can become a little passionate. Ask any Ford or Holden enthusiast who's has the better car and just sit back
i guess the question should be "what 'van shouldn't we buy?"...
Anyway, we're looking forward to the research journey and exploring the forum here.
cheers
